If you’re anything like me, you’re always dreaming of your next travel destination. Most people have their favorite site to scan for flight prices. My favorite was Kaya, but starting last year, Google Flights slowly kept climbing up the ranks. Here are a few reasons why it’s my favorite:

1.       Scraping prices from MULTIPLE sites all at once. Yes, I know that most travel sites have it, but no one does it quite like Google! I love the way it’s presented and my ability to mix and match!

2.       Tracking prices with email alerts: I know we all don’t need another email clogging up our inbox, but I love the "set it and forget" mentality of this option. Google knows what my dates are and will email me whenever there is a material change in price.

3.       When you have a flexible schedule, their date grid makes shopping a cinch. I love the ease of being able to visualize the dates and prices. They even make it easy by marking what options are cheapest! If a grid isn’t your thing, they have an easy-to-read format using bar graphs.

4. Price history - This option is a bit of a blessing and a curse. I love seeing how pricing has changed, but I also get a little sad when I see I could’ve gotten it for cheaper.
